All I want for Christmas is.. THIS!
MAC Cosmetics has unveiled the entire Mariah Carey collection and it is gorgeous! Yes, maybe a bit much for some people, but I am just living for the sparkle. It screams holidays with Mariah, that is for sure. The collection will be available online December 8th and in stores on December 15th. So on to the fun part, the products!
There will be five lipsticks available ($20 each) and will include Bit of Bubbly (soft pinky nude, cremesheen), Dahhlinggg! (pinky peach, cremesheen), MCizzle (cool peach, cremesheen), All I Want (champagne shimmer, frost), and I Get So OOC (shimmering brown, frost).
Four lipglasses (18.50 each), as well as two lip pencils ($22 each), will also be available. The lipglasses include colors such as Rainbow Interlude, Little Miss Monroe, and Butterfly Bling. For the lip pencils, New Ombre is a cool peach and So Dramatique is a deep brown.
Probably one of my favorites in this collection is the extra dimension skinfinish ($45.50). My
Mimi is a warm gold shimmer and something that I can definitely see in my makeup bag this holiday season.
Something that I haven't seen in a lot of MAC collaborations is this product, the loose powder ($39.50). I am actually really excited to see some swatches with this, perfectly named Touch My Body and described as a radiant gold shimmer.
There will be two eyeshadow palettes ($41 each) in this collection, It's Everything and I'm That Chick You Like. I'm honestly not sure which of these I want more, both are full of flattering shades.
I just have to say that MAC x Mariah really outdid themselves with the packaging on this collection. As a girl who loves her packaging, I'm already obsessed with every product. I mean, liquid eyeliner is liquid eyeliner (this is $22, btw).. but this one, This Is My Night (rich black-brown), just feels like something I need to add to my collection.. I swear I don't have a shopping problem.
Two powder blushes ($24 each) will also be included in this collection. Sweet Sweet Fantasy is described as a deep coral, while You've Got Me Feeling is a light candy pink. I'm not too big on blush, but I would still like to try these out and see how they look in person.
The collection also features two sets of lashes ($18 each), 05 (more natural-looking fringe) and 36 (super-glam). Obviously my favorite lashes are these gorgeous lashes above, the 36 set.
Last, but not least, we have the brushes that will be released with this collection. I usually don't buy any of the brushes that come out with the collaborations, but the sparkle is calling my name. The 239 Eye Shader will be sold for $28.50, while the 183 Buffer is $59.50.. which means I'll probably stick with the shader if I end up picking up one of the two.
